In this forward-looking session, Derek Hitchman will explore how companies can retool and modernize their existing NetSuite environments to unlock greater efficiency, scalability, and ROI. Moving beyond the traditional “health check,” Derek will discuss how to rethink system design, align NetSuite with evolving business processes, and uncover opportunities to streamline operations.
Looking ahead, the session will also examine how automation, AI, and emerging NetSuite capabilities are reshaping ERP. Derek Hitchman is a Partner and NetSuite Practice Lead at CrossCountry Consulting, where he drives innovation and growth through enterprise technology solutions. Based in Tampa, Florida, Derek is responsible for client delivery, practice strategy, and expanding CrossCountry’s NetSuite capabilities internationally.
Derek brings deep experience in financial systems design, custom software development, and rapid system configuration, helping organizations modernize accounting and operational processes at scale. Earlier in his career, he led software sales and implementations across global markets, including the Middle East and Australia, and held senior operations roles delivering Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) solutions for clients in banking, logistics, and other industries.
Derek is known for his practical, outcomes-focused approach to helping finance and accounting leaders unlock value from NetSuite.
