5 NetSuite Workflow Improvements Every Admin Should Make This Year
NetSuite is powerful out of the box, but most instances are leaving significant efficiency gains on the table. In this session, we’ll walk through five high-impact workflow improvements that admins can implement to reduce manual work, eliminate common bottlenecks, and help their teams move faster — without a major implementation project or outside help. From approval routing to automated alerts and beyond, these are practical, proven changes that deliver results quickly.
Whether you’re managing a lean finance team or supporting a growing organization, keeping your NetSuite instance working for your team — not the other way around — is one of the highest-leverage things an admin can do. You’ll leave this session with a clear list of improvements to evaluate against your own environment, an understanding of where to start, and the confidence to make changes that your accounting and operations teams will actually notice.
Participants will be able to:
- Identify your highest-impact automation opportunities: Recognize the most common sources of manual work in NetSuite and learn how to evaluate which workflow changes will deliver the fastest results for your team.
- Configure approval workflows that actually work: Learn how to build and refine role-based approval routing to reduce back-and-forth, prevent bottlenecks, and give your accounting managers better visibility.
- Leverage saved searches and alerts as an automation layer: Use NetSuite’s built-in notification and alerting capabilities to proactively surface exceptions and keep the right people informed without manual follow-up.
