Find and Fix the AP Bottlenecks Slowing Your NetSuite Close

1.0 CPE Credits

Accounts payable is one of the most common sources of month-end close delays, yet most teams don't know exactly where the time is going or how to fix it.

This session provides accounting and finance professionals with a practical, hands-on framework for diagnosing the five most costly AP bottlenecks inside NetSuite: manual data entry, approval routing failures, approval backlogs, missing accruals, and duplicate payments.

Participants will work through a live diagnostic exercise to score their own processes, identify their highest-priority gaps, and leave with a concrete action plan for improving AP efficiency within their existing NetSuite environment.

Learning Objectives:

After completing this session, participants will be able to:

  • Identify the five most common AP bottlenecks that contribute to close delays and increased operational risk in NetSuite environments
  • Apply a structured diagnostic framework to assess the maturity of their organization's AP process across five key areas
  • Evaluate tactical configuration improvements within NetSuite to reduce manual intervention in invoice intake, approval routing, and accrual generation
  • Develop a prioritized action plan to address their highest-impact AP process gaps
