Tyler Persson received a bachelor's degree in accounting from BYU, followed by a master's degree in accounting with an emphasis in taxation. While doing that, he also got minors in economics, information systems, and world dance; all of which contribute to his focus on financial systems these days (ESPECIALLY the world dance part). A few months after graduation, he received his CPA and CMA certifications. Shortly after receiving his credentials, he joined the implementation team at Netgain Solutions and started working primarily with NetClose, their financial close software (in addition to their lease asset and other product offerings), and is now the principal implementor of the product.
