Professional Services Consultant
Position Summary
Primary Job Responsibilities
Client Engagement and Relationship Management
- Client Onboarding: Lead the onboarding process for new clients, ensuring a smooth transition from sales to implementation.
- Client Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders to understand their needs and ensure ongoing satisfaction.
- Client Success: Act as a trusted advisor to clients, providing insights and recommendations to help them achieve their business goals using our SaaS solutions.
Project Management
- Implementation Planning: Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and risk management strategies.
- Project Coordination: Coordinate with internal teams (e.g., product development, support, sales) to ensure successful project execution.
- Milestone Tracking: Monitor project progress against milestones and deliverables, adjusting plans as necessary to ensure timely completion.
Technical Expertise and Solution Delivery
- Solution Configuration: Configure and customize SaaS solutions to meet the specific needs of clients, ensuring alignment with their business processes.
- Integration Support: Assist clients with the integration of SaaS solutions into their existing IT infrastructure, including data migration and system interoperability.
- Technical Troubleshooting: Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance during and after implementation, ensuring any issues are resolved promptly.
Training and Enablement
- User Training: Develop and deliver comprehensive training programs for end-users to ensure effective adoption and utilization of SaaS solutions.
- Documentation: Create and maintain detailed documentation, including user guides, FAQs, and best practice guides to support client self-service and continuous improvement.
Continuous Improvement
- Feedback Loop: Collect and analyze client feedback to identify areas for improvement in our products and services.
- Process Optimization: Continuously refine and improve implementation methodologies and processes to enhance efficiency and client satisfaction.
- Industry Best Practices: Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to ensure our solutions and services remain competitive and relevant.
Skills and Qualifications
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree: A degree in Accounting / Finance is highly regarded and you may have a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience: 3+ years of experience in a professional services, consulting, or client success role, most likely within one of the Big 4 Accounting Firms, with exposure to transformation or the SaaS industry.
Skills and Competencies
- Technical Skills: Strong understanding of SaaS technologies, cloud computing, and software integration. Proficiency with relevant tools and platforms.
- Project Management: Proven experience managing complex projects with multiple stakeholders. PMP or similar certification is a plus.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a proactive approach to identifying and addressing client needs.
- Interpersonal Skills: Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients and internal teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- Certifications: CPA or ICA, and may have relevant industry certifications
- Experience with ERP Systems: Familiarity with ERP systems and client success platforms.
- Industry Knowledge: Experience in a range of industry verticals (e.g., healthcare, finance, retail) and understanding of its unique business and accounting challenges and requirements.
Work Environment
- Remote Work: Flexibility to work remotely with occasional travel to client sites and company offices as needed – less than 25%.
